Hailing from the nation's capital, Staycation's sound is built on a foundation of dance-inducing grooves, gritty psychedelic rock, soaring solos, and topped off with infectious vocal hooks.  Each live show is a unique experience, featuring seamless segues and non-stop energy.  As Live Music Daily put it, the end result is “less like a show and increasingly like a great party.”

Formerly part of DC funk rock group B Side Shuffle, members of Staycation have been mainstays in the mid-Atlantic music scene for years, with major festival appearances at the All Good Festival and Camp Barefoot, and flagship venues like the 9:30 Club, Howard Theatre, Baltimore Soundstage, and the 8x10.  The band's debut EP, Escape Plan, is available Sept. 20 on Spotify, iTunes, and Google Play.

Staycation is Nik Sus (vocals/guitar), Neel Singh (bass), David Ray (drums), Dan Janis (tenor sax) and Will Sautter (vocals/alto sax/keys)
